I was just wondering how Virginia Tech will receive my semester grades from my senior year. Do i have to request them to be sent or will Virginia Tech request them from my counselor? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

[Application Checklist: Freshmen | Undergraduate Admissions | Virginia Tech](http://www.admiss.vt.edu/apply/freshman/checklist.php)

Mid-Year High School Report (included in both the online and paper Freshman Application): Applicants should work with their guidance counselors to complete the Mid-Year High School Report, then submit the report along with a copy of their first semester or mid-year report card to the Office of Undergraduate Admissions as soon as the report card is available (no later than February 27).

And there’s a link to the PDF form, so it looks like you need to get your counselor to send them.

thanks!! much appreciated. looks like i found this out just in time since the deadline for the mid year report is february 27th.

If you were not told to, you don’t need to send midyear grades correct?

“Whether you apply online or send in the paper application, the Office of Undergraduate Admissions must receive the following supporting materials to ensure your application file is complete:

DD sent w/o specific request.
