Deferred: sending updated information?

I was deferred early action from UMich LSA as an international applicant (SAT 2340, GPA 3.8, SAT II 790 MII, 800 BioE, 790 WH.)

I read over my supplement essays, and I now notice how weak they are (unclear reasons for Why UMich, etc.) I think this might have been the biggest reason as to why I was deferred. I got the supposed "good" deferral letter.

I recently won a national award for music, and have been doing volunteer science tutoring at school since mid-November...so I thought I would send this information as well as tell them that UMich is one of my top choices. I am pretty sure that my counselor already sent them my mid-year report (my GPA rose a lot so hopefully that helps..)

Does anybody know whether I can just email them and tell them this? And also does anybody know who I am supposed to email??

Thank you!!

yes, email a document to ecredentials@umich.edu and make sure your UM id is on it
