Hey guys,
I was deferred ED for Brown, and I know how anxious I am to get my decision in March. How have you guys been handling yourself?

I hear that 30% of EDers get in overall (deferred and ED accepted). Anybody hear anything similar to that?

Also…I’m nervous with all these legacy RDers applying ahhh!!

Hopefully we will all get in!

Generally, the RD acceptance rate for deferred ED (or EA, or SCEA) applicants will be comparable to that of the overall RD round. I’m not sure how that compares to your 30% overall number, but the RD rate is a more valuable metric for you as a deferred applicant. Best of luck!

Hahah I see what you are saying, but that’s what one of my friends said the adcom said on his tour–which is hard to believe because if there were 10,000 applicants 3,333 def. won’t get in (that’s like more than the entire freshman class!)

Thanks!
