Deferred Students: Sending Additional Materials

<p>What are some good supplementary materials to send if you're deferred? My counselor advised sending in another rec from a senior year teacher, an additional essay, and an updated resume.</p>

<p>Is there anything else like a letter of interest I should send? Also, in the deferral email, it said to email all supplementary materials. Does that mean that I should email them the supplementary teacher rec, or should I have the teacher send it to them?</p>

<p>Your teacher (not you) should send the additional recommendation directly to Harvard under separate cover, either by email, fax or snail mail.</p>

<p>I would suggest that a good supplementary material to send would be a check for $50M made payable to the Development Office with a cc to the President.</p>
