<p>I was deferred as a transfer applicant from the University of Wisconsin Whitewater. </p>
<p>On the deferral letter they explained what it meant, bassically if I get above a 3.0 GPA for my current term, which ends in 2 weeks, that I will "most likely" be offered admittance. </p>
<p>So, I was just wondering if anyone has ever experienced this and or knows anything extra?</p>

<p>Mine got postponed for transfer for this coming fall as well. I was so confused because I knew they did that for freshmen but not transfers. I ended my spring term with a 3.66 gpa and still waiting to hear back. I should hopefully find out within the next few weeks. What is your gpa and what year in school are you?</p>
<p>I was in the same situation last year, and I sent my unofficial transcript via e-mail when my grades were released because an official transcript would take too long to be considered. I got accepted a few days after they received it.</p>
<p>summer271, how did you find out you were accepted? Was it online or through a letter? They received my unofficial transcripts via email this past friday (5/13) and I still have not heard back.</p>

<p>Correction, my grades came up to a 3.4… so according to the letter they sent us… we both have a great shot!</p>
