I bombed my standardized tests, but I manage to get As and Bs in my AP courses
I would recommend you to take the SAT again. The mid-50% for Fordham is 1820-2060.
ok thanks, I’ve taken them twice, and I’ve gotten pretty crappy scores both times. I’ve never studied for the SATs though, is studying or taking an SAT course worth it, or should I just wing it again?
You could consider the class or a tutor, or take practice tests every day and see if you can improve your scores. Part of it is just getting used to doing those tests. Good luck!
I think stronger grades will trump SAT scores at this point. I would focus on your AP classes and other achievements that may come up this year. Be patient and see what happens. Good luck!
You could try ACT again too! I was accepted to Fordham early action with pretty average SAT grades (1800), but a higher ACT grade (27). Some people are naturally better at the ACT. I am kind of surprised at the deferral for you; I think you’ve got a great chance.
