Does anybody have any info about deferrals to ED2 at Wes? What are my chances?

Were you deferred ed1? If so you are not gonna be re evaluated ed2. Instead they will look at your app again and tell you if you were accepted with the rest of the regular decision apps. This is how 99.9% of the schools out there deal with people who were deferred early. So I would assume Wes is the same.

That is incorrect. If you were deferred to ED2, you will be notified by February 15th along with the other ED2 applicants.

I am sorry I miss spoke earlier. Wesleyan does defer people to both ed2 and RD. Those deferred to ed2 are deferred because they want to see your first semester grades. So make sure to send them.

My guess is you are a stronger candidate and will have a better chance of getting in if you are deferred to ED2 opposed to rd.

to my knowledge, getting deferred severely lowers your chances. however, that’s only the statistics of getting deferred to rd.
in my opinion, as long as your first semester grades are in good shape, you look like a good candidate for ed2

Was everyone from EDI who was deferred automatically put into EDII or where some people put into regular decision?
