I am a current senior male in high school in Virginia and I was deferred by Virginia Tech back in December. It is my absolute dream school and I don’t want to go anywhere else. I have around a 3.7 GPA and an 1100 SAT Score with no ACT. I have extracurricular activities such as playing soccer for my high school, DECA, and other clubs. Also, both of my parents attended Virginia Tech. I get more nervous everyday waiting for the deadline to see if I got in regular decision. As admissions roll out, is it time to give up or still hope for the best?

What major did you apply for?
It’s my freshmen to senior GPA. I struggled early in my freshman and sophomore years and have proved that I can get the grades my junior and senior years.
I applied for university studies because I don’t know what I want to do in life yet. But I have been thinking about doing something along the lines of business or criminology.
