So I just found out today that I got deferred from UVM:( kinda upsetting because I really thought I was getting in and it is my top choice. Anyone have any advice or know any tips to improve my chances of being accepted?

If UVM is your top choice, then you should compose a letter of continued interest and send it to the admissions office.
May I ask what your SAT/ACT scores were?

My SAT was 1140…not the best but
I think you will get in during the regular admissions cycle. I know several kids from my area who have gone to UVM with those scores.
