<p>I think I heard 48% somewhere, but dont bank on that.
Im wondering the same thing myself.</p>
<p>I sent an email to the adcom after I was deferred. They were very nice, and certainly made you feel optimistic (even as I knew they were lying and sugarcoating). She said that only about 30% of deferrees end up being accepted, though...</p>
<p>I had a bunch of stuff to add, so maybe I will still get in.</p>
<p>30% is actually much better than most colleges...</p>
