<p>I agree with Martinphil, if State wants to waitlist until June then go someplace else. My son will go to Univ of South Carolina on a scholarship. They seem to appreciate smart students. I can’t really understand some of the choices they made. There are kids at my son’s high school with lower gpa’s and lower SATs that got in. My son, on the advice of an admissions officer, even changed his second choice of major to something less competitive. I don’t get it, but everything happens for a reason and he will probably have a much better experience where he is going. Is there anyone that is going to stay on waitlist and go to State if accepted in June?</p>
