Deffering applications! I need helppp!

Hi
I live in the UK and I was supposed to be starting college at Cloud county community college in Kansas this fall, however due to family situations I don't think I will be able to leave that soon.
Does anybody know if enrollments can be deferred until January or the next semester?

Deferring matriculation is a standard practice, but different colleges many have different policies. Sorry that this is not a too helpful answer- I think the best plan is to directly call or email the school’s advising office.

It’s a community college. It’s standards are not that strict. Indeed you’ll find that huge number of people enrolled in any particular class will drop it before the semester is complete.

Community colleges serve the local population and thus, students come from a variety of backgrounds and situations – which includes many drops/adds/last minute sign ups, etc.

Yes you can defer without any penalty. Curious however, why did you choose a small community college in such a small farming community away from any metropolitan area? Why are you going to a remote school in Kansas?
