<p>I have a quick question. If you apply ED to a school and are defferred but then later accepted during the regular rounds are you still bound to attend that school? What happens if you are accepted of the waitlist?</p>

<p>No, you are not. If they do not accept you ED, you are no longer bound, even if they later accept you RD.</p>
<p>The one thing to note is some schools have an EDII where you find out in Feburary. If you are defered from EDI to EDII (I think you normally get to chose which you are defered to), and then accepted EDII, you are still bound. But there, once again, if you are defered from EDII to RD, you are no longer bound, even if they accept you.</p>
