<p>My D is a freshman pre med student, her high school choir teacher did tell me during a conference last year that med schools really liked music majors and more music majors are accepted to med schools than science majors.</p>
<p>UCr does not have a music bachelors degree!

<p>Stev… you have another thread going about the subject. Quit worrying about the “right” major for med/pharm. They have prerequisite courses but you should major in the field that most interests you. They will teach you everything you need to know once you are in their schools. Do not waste your time trying to game the system with coursework or a major. The lilelihood of getting in is not great- major in what excites your intellectual passions the most- you need a field you like in the event you do not go to a medical field professional school. Follow my advice given in your other thread.</p>
