Degree that doesn't require math or science

I'm so lost right now. I'm planning on going back to school but I don't know what to major. My initial plan is to major in Nursing but I'm not sure if my brain is suited for that. I have my AS in gen. education, my biologies are all C's though my math courses aren't that bad (As and Bs). However, I know to myself that science and math aren't really my forte. Other than nursing, I really have no idea what I would like to do. I'm thinking about majoring in Computer or something that is related to that but I know that it requires a lot of math though. Or am I wrong?

What are some majors that do not require math and science?

Computer Science is all math.

There are plenty out there… English, Foreign Languages, Business (may be some math involved), Music, Humanities, Social Sciences if you’re into that kind of thing, History?

also Education.

CS will require math-like (logical) thinking at the very least.

Humanities and arts are typical non-math fields, although a basic knowledge of statistics is useful in general life. Social studies will generally need some statistics; economics and business will need calculus as well.

I would hope that an education major would learn math to a higher level than the students being taught. This would likely be the most for a high school math teacher and least for a middle or high school humanities or arts teacher. Elementary school teachers may need somewhat more than middle or high school humanities or arts teachers, due to the occasional appearance of math prodigy kids in the elementary schools.

Look at liberal arts, humanities and social sciences. But while it would be easier to bypass science, you would probably have to take at least one math class even if you’re majoring in say political science or history.
Yes for computers you’d need to take math classes, so you are better of avoiding that major.
You mentioned nursing; you don’t have to enroll in a traditional nursing school to become a nurse. Now you can enroll in an accredited online nursing program, graduate, get licensed and work as a nurse. Here is a list of them: http://www.ocregister.com/education/subjects/nursing-degrees</a>
But then again, you are looking at a lot of science.

I think like a business degree with concentration in information systems degree or management information systems would be good to look at.

Business majors typically require calculus (although often an easier “calculus for business majors” course is offered) and statistics.

I don’t think the guy truly means ABSOLUTELY no math. He says gets As and Bs in math… He just probably means he doesn’t want something like…Engineering.

I’m sure he’d be fine with something like political science that requires statistics or business that has a few math courses that you just have to make it through. As long as the math isn’t the meat of the major he’s probably ok with it.

And not all computer related degrees are math intensive. Something like IT that’s not computer science probably wouldn’t be too bad. And computer programming is more logic than actual math. Though I’m sure the major does require a lot of math on the side so that probably wouldn’t work.
