Degree works and incoming freshman with credit question

<p>Is it normal for an incoming freshman’s classification to be something other than freshman? Ds was on his degree works page and it is showing his classification as what he is by credit hrs. I didn’t think their classification changed until after the start of the semester??</p>

<p>Mainly wanting to make sure it won’t cause any complications with orientation and freshman scholarships, etc.</p>
