Recently I was accepted to Brandeis and they gave me a really surprising financial aid package. However, reading from your posts, I feel Brandeis is perhaps not the best place for me…however, the I could really use the extra money I’ll be saving by going to Brandeis. I have a few questions and if you can answer them, I be grateful.

1) I’ve gotten the trustees scholarship. However, from the financial aid package it also said that I should expect the loans to increase each year and the scholarships to decrease. Is that true? Does it actually happen? If the loans do increase each year, are there a lot of scholarship opportunities that Brandeis may offer to me? If you don’t mind, could you share some of the financial ups and downs that you may have experienced? Thank you.

2) You said before that Brandeis may not be the best place for pre-med…the course is way to hard and the professors are not the best. How many people actually are accepted to medical schools each year? What are their typical stats(gpa, mcat, etc)?

Deispremed, I really appreciate you taking time to answer these questions. I’m really stuck between a rock and a hard place right now. If you could answer these questions, it would really help be decide my college choices. Thanks.
