Thanks, CTmom610. No, he did not apply for honors, and yes, it is hard to hear for one twin and not the other. This happened with U of Pitt also. After about 1 1/2 weeks of waiting for the second twin’s decision, I called admissions. The guy there was so nice and told me over the phone that my other son was accepted. I know that that is highly unusual. He said he sympathized because they were twins.

That was very nice. You’ll have to do the same with UDEL if they don’t come through quick!

De-lurking. This waiting for rolling admissions notifications is maddening … I’m beginning to think I like the model where they just notify everyone on the same pre-published date so much better… My son applied OOS from MD for mechanical engineering. Nothing yet. Stats are 4.4 GPA, 2150 SAT, all GT/AP classes. Had his application in by mid-October, and all his recommendations were in by Nov. 1. And so we wait…

Seriously feel for the twin who is still waiting … that must be incredibly nerve wracking.

You’re right…for my own peace of mind! Lol. My sons don’t seem to worry about it too much. They both felt pretty confident that they would get accepted. I’m the one who stresses.

we are always the ones who stress … fingers crossed for your son 3plus3

Can you see which school you were accepted into (and if it is the honors program) online or in a letter? How long after the online posted acceptance did you receive the mailed acceptance package?

I have twins, one DD got accepted today to honors with merit scholarship. 3plus3, I feel for you, we are waiting for her sister to hear, hopefully tomorrow. At least here it’s different majors so we’re hoping that is what is holding up the decision.
LongIslandMomof5, we could see that she was accepted to honors on the main page.

Sorry for delay - she logged into her Blue Hen for me. It does not show her major. She got the mailed acceptance, and then checked her account! Her mailed acceptance says that she was accepted into her major. I don’t see any indication of honors.

2togetready, I hope we do hear tomorrow, but I won’t hold my breath. My twins got their responses by mail 2 weeks apart from UPitt. They applied same day with almost identical stats. Thank goodness the nice guy in admissions told us sooner over the phone. I’m pretty confident that my second son will be accepted, mostly because of the merit award. Of course there is no guarantee based on that and only time will tell! Best of luck to your daughter and everyone else still waiting!

Accepted today! Found out on the portal after I got home from school.
