@colleeggee2016
Let me know if anything changes, I’m in exactly the same situation as you. Hopefully it’s just a Christmas break thing.
SkyDiamond and @colleeggee2016 - my son has the same issue. His stats suggest he should get some scholarship money but nothing listed. He got his acceptance on 12/30
i have the same issue as all of you as well. I bet its just slow from break and hopefully things should update soon!
The office of admissions opened at 8:15 today so things should update soon. If not, we should at least get letters in the next few days. I’m slowly going crazy, but hangin on, I wish the best of luck to you all!!
My daughter’s acceptance letter came a few days before her portal was updated.
When you say that your application was marked complete, are you referring to the Common App? My S had all info received on 11/17. He hasn’t heard anything. I know that Early Decisions have heard, but it seems from reading above that many non-ED have also heard. Just wondering…and worrying…
@GNWmom I haven’t heard either and I submitted my app on 10/5 and everything was received by 10/8. UD doesn’t have early decision, it’s all rolling decision so I wouldn’t be too worried.
My son hasn’t heard either and we are closing in on 11 weeks. According to the website, the decisions are made “typically” within 8-12 weeks. The admissions office was also closed for the winter break so we may have to factor that time in too.
My D is still waiting. Completed Common App on 10/31. Received e-mail from UD on 11/12 that her app was complete and ready for review. The admissions counselor that visited our high school in Nov indicated she would likely hear by the beginning of Jan, so she’s hoping to hear soon. I know the dates are just estimates, but the waiting game really is so stressful for these kids. Every day waiting feels like a year. Best of luck to all still in limbo. Praying for good news for all!
My son received a letter yesterday that basically said because of the number of qualified applicants it will take longer and he would hopefully hear some good news in mid February. He completed his application on 10/20. Hoping the fact they put “good news” in the letter is a good sign. Yesterday was exactly 12 weeks since his application was completed.
yep, received the same letter yesterday. 12.5 weeks after my application was deemed complete. OOS, GPA 3.7, ACT 29. Applied to nursing… The wait continues
My daughter just received the same letter today. Pretty unnerving to receive that skinny envelope, but relieved it wasn’t bad news. A good friend of hers with a stellar academic record also got the same letter today. Fingers remain crossed…
My D applied in September. Several students in her high school were admitted before Thanksgiving and not one of them plans to go there. Yet my D waits and waits…oh, the irony.
Accepted into the nursing program today!
