I wouldn’t count on it, those who are invited are those with the highest scholarships and there are only 100 (my daughter got the highest but wasn’t invited, but her friend who was 2nd in their graduating class was, my daughter only had a 34 act, her friend a 5).
Accepted with a 3.3W GPA and 1360 SAT. No merit.
when did you get your decision?
Honors College acceptance on the 17th
97 weighted GPA
34 ACT
6 AP
OOS
Applied 10/10
Portal updated 12/17: Accepted
Daughter received her acceptance to college of education (secondary english) the night before Thanksgiving. Applied 10/13.
How does the honors acceptance come - via email or do you need to keep checking portal?
D received via email, and snail mail about 3 weeks later.
Got email to say admissions updated the status and to check portal.
was that today?
No, sorry, not today. But when he did there was an email to check the portal. Good luck!
Has anyone had luck in previous year with negotiating merit aid with state schools? My experience (not with UDEL) hasn’t been very successful.
i got 5K merit a year and very surprised cuz i had a 3.2 and went test optional. i was expecting nothing from them since their online calc said i don’t qualify for merit!
That’s great, just made sure it’s not the $5500 all students who filled out fafsa are granted, it’s a federal loan.
oh okk tyy ! i don’t think it is since my parents still haven’t done the fafsa yet
My Daughter got accepted on 01/07 and the Portal shows the decision as below, what does Regular here mean, she applied early action on 10/30.
Decision: Admit: Regular
Just guessing, but it seems they admitted her in the regular admission category not as part of the early application pool.
My D says the same “regular” and we heard Nov 7th about her acceptance. Maybe just their terminology? Not Honors etc?
My son applied EA, was accepted a while back, and also accepted into a honors college. His also says “Regular.”
D accepted EA on 11/5. Accepted Honors College 12/10. Hers also says Decision: Admit: Regular.
