Do EA applicants also hear about HC by Jan 31? Or is Jan 31 just the date for only general university acceptance? Still waiting on HC…
Should have looked at website! Honors decisions by Feb 15 for EA. Hoping for sooner!!

My S just got Honors acceptance. Applied Dec 1st, accepted around Dec 21, merit around 1/7 and today honors. He is OOS.

Nice to hear! Congrats! DD also applied to Honors; her stats are likely low for it, but we were thinking that most of the acceptances had already gone out, so this gives a little hope for her.
@Leigh22 Congrats to your S22!!! My boy is also OOS (CA) and waiting to hear about HC. I’ll check his portal

@Leigh22 , Did you get an email about Honors acceptance or just checked the Portal? Do they update the portal if not accepted to HC? As of now the portal just shows below
“Your interest in the UD Honors College has been noted and your application reviewed. Visit our website for information on when decisions will be released and to register for special events hosted by the Honors College.”

My S said he got an email. If it works like merit, I expect he will get a letter in the mail within a week.
I also know that they will be notifying people up until February 15th.

Yes, waiting here too for any notification about honors. Think she submitted her app end of Oct and got accepted to the College of Health Sciences mid-Dec. Oddly my daughter never received an email about the merit award, but clicked on the financial portal and saw it there.
D22 was accepted to the Honors College on Jan 14. Email came noting UD admissions status update and to check the portal. Letter just arrived Jan 18.

Anyone else still waiting on Honors? We thought D was strong candidate for it but it’s been over 2 months since acceptance and still no word…

S22 OOS (CA) still waiting to hear about Honors College, as well. That will make a big difference when comparing opportunities!
Yes if she gets Honors, UDel is top choice. If not, it’s anyone’s game!
DD waiting to hear as well, but we are anticipating it’s a no, given that so many others on this board heard about Honors within 1-2 weeks of acceptance. DD accepted 11/7, lol. Still a top choice, but Honors would make it even better. Good luck, and hoping we are incorrect!

I’m interested in this information as well. We got the invitation to apply a few days ago.
Got a decision about Honors via email (not the portal) at 5:00 PM EST today, about 45 minutes ago - not accepted, unfortunately. Unsurprised given the 5ish week gap between my acceptance and the decision, but this does bump UD down my list.

We got a letter about honors saying they haven’t decided yet if she will be accepted and we will know in April. Anyone else get this?
