Delayed Decision Email

Gmail here too. Gosh, I’m getting really impatient. ;)

Gmail here too, ah, so it’s gmail’s fault!

This is practically driving me crazy!!

Click on the check mail button, and the email will most likely pop up

If we decide not to read the e-mail (or just don’t get it), how long would it take for a decision letter to be mailed?

They send the acceptances in a large 1 lb. Priority Mail packet, so that takes 2-3 days to arrive, depending on your U.S. location.

Rejections are sent in regular envelopes, standard mail which could take 2-5 days depending on your location and the efficiency of the post office.

Hey, don’t forget. There is a 5% chance your e-mail will bounce and you won’t even get your decision tonight!

I just got my e-mail. How long would it take for the decision to be mailed to west Canada do u think?

that’s an excellent question…

oh wow. I live in Greece and still haven’t gotten any email yet. The wait is so dreadful

I want my email

Nothing on Gmail for me here…I’m guessing I’m not in? :(

Are decisions quantum? If I don’t check it, I’m neither accepted, nor rejected. We can’t know until I check…

Nothing on gmail either. This is so incredibly frustrating. I’ve just been sitting at my computer for an hour and a half, waiting…

No don’t be ridiculous. They get sent out in waves.

I haven’t heard either - and I’m using Gmail. Should we sue them for causing unnecessary emotional distress?

@ Skeriss hahahahahahha, foreals, this is not cool. But, since the accepted students are very diverse, and 10 percent skeriss are foreign, thats good news!!!

This email decision notification is so unnecessary on Harvard’s part!!! Why can’t they just use the same system as Yale and Princeton. They feel an e-mail is more secure than logging into a portal site? Ridiculous excuse, they just want to be different. Is this stress of waiting for an email decision that may never be received, a precursor of how things operate when attending Harvard?

Crazy system to notify decision!

just got the letter… it says it was sent at 5:05 p.m. but i got it 4 hours later -_-

arghhh still nothing. i can log into the website and it says congrats, which is a good sign. i just want to know for sure

i also have gmail
