Hi, I posed this same question in another forum but got no replies, hope it's ok to cross-post.

My transfer application for Yale apparently hasn't even started being "processed" yet because they thought they didn't receive the application fee (they did, and I had a Wells Fargo employee call their voicemail - the person that e-mailed me about the fee has been hard to reach directly, it's Friday after all - to assure them it's been cleared).

How much will this affect the admission decision? They don't send out decisions until mid-May, but the deadline was March 10 already. Does the admission process work like filling a specific number of slots up, or does being somewhat late (they did take the time to alert me, after all) not play much of a role?

Yale was my first choice and I'm not at all familiar with the American college admissions process, I'd appreciate any input I can get. Thanks!
