DELIMMA!! HELP!! X_x

I am a huge delimma. Suppose you were qualified (by age, grades, whatever) for all of the options below, which would YOU rather do over the summer and why? I only have room for one choice. I wouldn’t mind doing ANY of them, but I just can’t make up my mind. Which would look best on a college application, or does it matter?:

Get an internship in a biomedical company and do research/work on medicinal, virus, stuff, etc.

Get permission to do a medical research project with a university professor.

Take a medical science course at one of those college programs like SSP, etc…

Please help me.

Which one of these can you do later? 3. Cross that off.

Which opportunity may you never see again? I would think 2 - if the professor has already agreed with it - he might rescind the offer later.

Well, punkette, you're only in 9th grade, right? Some colleges don't really pay much attention to what you do freshman year and summer of freshman year, but all of these are good ways to get hands-on experience. I wouldn't get so worked up about it.

I would say that #2 looks the most impressive on college apps--and also presents you with a good opportunity to make connections and get a recommendation from that university professor. I'd personally choose the second option, even though they'd all look great. Option #3 (Ssp) might be pretty common amongst applicants who apply to top tier schools.

I am tape.
