Demigods who score perfect SAT and ACT

Seriously, how rare is this? I did a little search and found three examples. Do people who do this basically get auto-admitted to their first-choice school? I have this weird habit of browsing through amazing stats and test score just to be depressed.

wow!!!
i wish i was that kid....man without studying much...getting perfect scores in both SAT and ACT

damn..i worked my ass off and i am hoping to get 2100

this guy is cooool

Wow. This makes me make a connection to child prodigies--

Did you read about Sho Yano? http://www.cnn.com/2003/EDUCATION/08/25/sprj.sch.wonder.kid.ap/

Akrit Jaswal?
http://www.mymultiplesclerosis.co.uk/misc/akritjaswal.html

Crazy.

well.. if you can pull off a perfect score on the sat wouldn't it stand to reason you could do the same on the act?

perfect scores still don't guarantee any admission

Don't forget my high school hoomie Jeff Nanney who not only has scored perfect on both tests once, but several times since he was a freshman!!

Actually one of my friends got a perfect score on the SAT but was deferred from Yale, but she's at Harvard now.

its not THAT hard to get a perfect score, but those people getting 1500+ at age 8 and already operating are really geniuses.

Unfortunately, the SAT is just the SAT and the ACT is just the ACT.

Harvard rejects 65% of perfect scorers!

They're bluffing.

wow . . . he's got it all . . . he even looks sorta hot in that photo.

ive never even heard of a perfect act...

Wait... if you got a perfect score on one, why would you even bother taking the other?!

Because people tend to be insane.

go plano east!!! even though i dont go to east...
jeff is a cool guy

wee go dallas school kids :)!!

ive heard of jeff too from my school friends who knew him somewhat.

Harvard is definately not bluffing. It is very reasonable to assume that a large portion of those perfect scorers, although good at taking exams, isn't EC-adept enough to enter Harvard. Personally, I know several 2350+ and one perfect scorer that were rejected by Harvard for precisely that reason.

2400 is not the ticket to everything.

Yeah Jeff was pretty popular among everyone. However, he is incredibly down to earth for some of his stature and pretty cool as well.

My son got perfect scores on the following on first try each: ACT, SAT, SAT II Math 2, AP Calc AB, AP Stat, with more scores coming. He’s mostly been homeschooled by the unschooling method, with a few years of public school, but his practice test (Duke TIP) were phenomenal based almost entirely on unschooling. He did not do formal schoolwork or take classes when unschooled.

What did silverturtle get on his ACT?
