<p>meh, I was hoping that you'd at least realize that there are many chance-permutations of social policies, and that the Democrats and Republicans only capture a very very small portion of legitimate chance-permutations of social policies, in such a way as to inhibit the diversity of authoritative opinions in a social-political system. </p>

<p>people in the US take so many social policies as given it's frustrating.</p>

<p>at least the government is limited, so most of the innovation comes from the bottom-up rather than the top-down.</p>
