<p>Hi! I had a question about how some top tier colleges evaluate a student's ethnicity with their indicated major. I know there is a stereotype out there that asians are always involved in science or engineering and how very few pursue literature or history. Does anyone know how these colleges look at a student who wants to major in something other than engineering or the sciences? Do they give them any sort of advantage? Thanks for your feedback!</p>
