I'm considering medicine (major: Biology/Chem) or business (major: Finance/Economics) as a career field, but I'm undecided on which one.

Since I'm in high school and to get into top schools for one of those majors, my extracurriculars probably should show passion for whichever one I apply for.

However, I don't know which one I want to be, and I'm not sure how I can go 100% in ECs in both fields...

any tips/suggestions as to what I should do?

maybe you have any ideas of ECs that tailor to both or are really good for one of those majors?

I am interested in both as well and I have a pretty broad spectrum of EC’s… I would say focus on assuming leadership positions that coincide with your passions and interests and then cater you classes (mostly APs) to your intended major. Keep in mind that your ECs are not going to make or break you! :)

I kind of just do what I enjoy doing. I am the president of JSA at our school and I also am attending an AP government class at Princeton next summer (as a junior through JSA) even though I have no interest in persuing a career in political science. I am also involved in some school-specific groups that I was a founding leader of that are not major-specific.

For ECs that DO relate to my intended major, I have been looking into internships at local research universities and an extended internship next summer. My mom works at a patent law firm so I have been able to begin the process of patenting some intellectual property.
