Anyone know how stingy OSU is when it comes to need based money. My efc is like 1400 and I will need alot of money to go here.Im oos and was curious if the school will cover at least half my need, preferably all.

Funny, I was just about to make a post asking the same question. Me EFC is a big fat 0, and the estimated cost of attendance for in-state students is $25,833.

The Ohio State University has a student aid estimator. OOS, with a 1400 EFC and no non-OSU scholarships looks like this:
Federal Pell Grant: 4000
Academic Competiveness Grant: 750
Scarlet and Gray Grant: 3000
Federal Work-Study: 2500
Federal Subsidized Loan : 3500
Federal UnSubsidized Loan: 2000
Federal PLUS Loan: 23175

Not too sure how accurate their estimator is, but I think it’s safe to assume it’s somewhat reliable.

For my case, in-state with an EFC of 0 and no non-OSU scholarships:

Federal Pell Grant: 5350
Academic Competiveness Grant: 750
Scarlet and Gray Grant: 3000
Educational Opportunity Grant: 600
Federal Work-Study: 2500
Federal Subsidized Loan: 3500
Federal UnSubsidized Loan: 2000
Federal PLUS Loan: 6438
