Has anyone been declined by UC Berkeley with TAP? And if so, why?
Thousands of people have. If you think TAP is some golden ticket, it’s not.
People don’t hear they they were denied, but the biggest issues are likely a GPA not high enough or missing required grades, just like non-TAP students.
TAP is not like TAG, where if you meet all the TAG requirements you are guaranteed a spot at the UC. TAP helps your chances at UCLA/UCB but is definitely not a guaranteed acceptance.
