Hi so I’m very confused right now. I am a hopeful student at UNCSA. I just received letter stating they denied my chance to get an interview but I’ve also received an email with my ez id number stating I would later receive a email to confirm an interview date. Can anyone clarify or am I the only one this is happening to?
Call them on Monday and ask.
The letter might be in error. The email might be in error. You won’t know what is going on until you speak with them.
Definitely call and ask. UNCSA is one of those ultra-competitive schools that makes a certain number of interview/audition appointments available beginning in September and then they fill up quickly. It is possible that all of their slots are taken. (The secretary of the P&D department told us that that division’s slots for the season were almost completely booked when we were there for D’s interview in November.) But even if they are full, you may be able to get on a wait list or arrange a Skype interview.
