<p>I was denied earlier today. My stats are:</p>

<p>White
3.0 (4.0 W)
5 AP and 12 honors classes
1480/1600 (CR + M)
2070 (All parts)
Ohio resident
Low gpa was clearly shown as result of a divorce of my parents (not an excuse, but I thought it might help)
Applied to college of engineering</p>

<p>I have gotten into and gotten scholarships to other schools. So this denial was a bit difficult for me. OSU was my first choice. Is there anything I should do?</p>

<p>If OSU is still your first choice, you can try applying to a satellite campus. They generally have slightly lower admission standards. After a year or two, you can transfer to main campus with no loss of credit.</p>
