I just heard back from VCU this morning. I wasn’t planning on transferring to VCU anyway, but I’m really surprised that I did not get accepted considering they aren’t even that good of a school.
Maybe your attitude about them showed up in your personal statement?
In all seriousness, VCU is an excellent school. Focus on where you got in, not who rejected you.
Perhaps that 2.2 GPA from HS played into it. Once you get your Associates your HS info won’t matter as much.
@ErinsDad
They didn’t look at my HS GPA because I have more that 30 credits. And I talked to the admissions counselor and he said the reason I didn’t get accepted was because I had only taken precalculus, and they didn’t know I was taking calculus in the summer.
If that’s the case then you should be able to reapply when calc is done.
Wow…just…wow.
Maybe you weren’t that good of an applicant?
The irony…they aren’t a good school…you’re shocked you got rejected…lol
