<p>One of our forum’s contributing students is being recognized today by the playing of “Celebrating Achievement” from Denny Chimes. I won’t match her up to her user name here, but do want to say congratulations to Sarah! </p>
<p>Congrats to Sarah! I feel connected to her - she’s from Texas, as I am, and the scholarship is named after a senator from Maine, my adopted home! Cool.</p>
<p>I feel connceted too. George Mitchell founded The Woodlands, TX where I live. He was a visionary, and his wife, Cynthia Woods Mitchell was a life-long philanthropist whose efforts continue through many organizations and foundations. Together, they were hugely influencial in the lives of thousands, and Sarah’s connection to them is one of which she and her family shoud be very proud.</p>
<p>Sarah has been one of my son’s best friends since they started together in Alabama Action and CBHP. She is brilliant, talented, well-read and a lot of fun to hang with. My parents, who got to meet and have dinner with her a couple of summers ago, were thrilled to hear the good news.</p>
