denounce & deplore

Hey guys
I dont exactly understand the difference between these 2 words.According the barron`s mini dictionary ,denounce - condemn,criticize ; deplore = regret;disapprove
SO ,denounce is supposed to have stronger meaning ?

Lets add ‘‘deprecate’’ to this group
***** my life

denounce is condemning yeah; something like chastising, bitterly scolding,it’s a very negative word.
deprecate is a negative word too, something like degrading or something,im not too sure, but its negative.

Let’s suppose that I’ve discovered you are hiding pornography in your SAT prep book and that’s what you’re doing instead of studying.

I may deplore this behavior – I may think badly of it. I may even deprecate you – I may say bad things about you. And I may go so far as to denounce you – I may say things that condemn you strongly.

I tend to understand “denounce” as stronger than “deprecate”. I suspect that’s probably because when I say self-deprecating things it’s more like, “Oh, I’m not really all that good at this stuff” than “I’m an evil person!” which I would understand as self-denunciation. But deploring can be done just in my own mind, whereas deprecation and denunciation require me to say something.

Or at least that’s how I’ve always understood it to be.

Lets add ‘‘deprecate’’ to this group
***** my life

Hahaha, reminds me of the scene from Superbad.

Beers fall and break on the floor.
-Sir, did you do this?
-no, someone should really clean this up.
-*** my life.

Yes ,this is exactly where i know this too ;)

wats the *** mean lol
