Dental - Internship?

<p>I'm a junior in highschool, looking for a internship or volunteer position for a dental office to get 'hands on' experience at what they do, what their typical day is like, as well as job shadow and help around the clinic.</p>

<p>How should I go about looking for a position? I don't have connections amongst family and friends, and my dentist changes every time, haha. Should I call up local dental offices and ask?</p>

<p>Also, does College Confidential have a dental school section? I only see medical school..</p>

<p>you need connection or network....even if you are willing to work unpaid, who wants to take the liability to have a high school student around?? It's a negative value from the employer's point of view.. just being blunt
a lot of my college sophomore classmates cant find internships even if they are willing to work unpaid, let alone high school.
