Dentistry ?

Im going to take a post graduate year this fall, and pretty soon i have to determine wither i want to study Pre-Dentistry or Pre-Law?
im having a hard time trying to make up my mind. everybody around me especially my father thinks that dentistry is a bad choice! even though i pretty much liked it.
i have searched the top colleges in pre-dentistry but they were poorly rated! one was 35, and the other was 63 or something. Does that mean Dentistry is not worth it?
I really love Biology and i find it most intresting even somewhat easy compared to the other courses.

should i go through with Dentistry? and is it safe and wise if i apply to much stronger schools even if dentistry isnt their thing??

Don’t allow others to influence your choice. If Dentistry is your thing, then pursue it, otherwise you’ll end up in a career you hate.

Also I’ve heard you’re better off not taking the Pre-whatever tracks, but rather focusing on another major while fulfilling the requirements for Law/Med/Dentistry.

My father is a dentist and my sister is a lawyer. Dentistry has more specific pre-reqs than Law. Try to talk with some people in the field as well as pre-Dental groups and Dental schools and see what they have to say. I’ll suggest that you start with Biology and go from there - I do know that good grades in science courses are important.
