<p>I remember when I was at Calday taking a tour, my tour bus guy was talking about how he combined engineering and business majors, I want to know what this is called to help pick out my classes.</p>
<p>he probably was doing a simultaneous degree (a double major where both majors are in different colleges(/schools in the case of Haas))</p>
<p>It also could be likely he was talking about IEOR/ORMS which are very business oriented engineering programs.</p>
<p>Or he created his own major and combined two subjects. If you come up with a plan of study and an advisor, you can do anything at Cal. It has to pass the academic rigor test and be approved by the various departments.</p>
<p>There are dual degrees, simultaneous degrees, and a major called interdisciplinary studies.</p>
