My son was admitted back in September (out of state, academic admit, 32 ACT, 3.9GPA, non-ranking HS but assigned 1st qtr by A&M) and decided over the holidays that he’d like to pursue either the departmental honors program (Geology) or University Honors. We navigated our way around the honors applications on Howdy and he submitted both applications yesterday.
Will this “late” decision to apply to the honors program hurt his chances of acceptance? What is the timeframe for notification for both programs given he’s already been admitted to the university?
