Hello! I am trying to find some information on DePaul University's Computer Science Graduate Program (not Digital Media), I am looking to transfer from my current grad program at Bradley University to DePaul, and would like to know some information on the quality of education in DePaul's Graduate Computer Science Program for Database. Thanks!

I have an MS from DePaul in computer science, and really loved their program. They are very up to date on technology and the professors work in their fields. This is a practical program and will prepare you well for the workforce. There is a lot of demand for database professionals, especially those who have experience, so try to get a good internship somewhere if you can. With it being in Chicago, the local marketplace is well aware of DePaul’s strengths in this field and there are many alumni.

Thanks for your reply. Now I get a better impression on DePaul. I have a couple of more questions.

1) I found that they are not asking for a GRE score and other requirements are very minimal, why is this so? do they make any compromises on the education based on this factor?

2) I come across words like ‘largest catholic institution’, looks like a religiously predominant place. So, are we expected to follow religious things?

Thanks
