I need to go to DePaul. It's my dream school. My hero Richard Dennis went there for philosophy, however, i want to major in finance and accounting. I am currently going to a community college in Pennsylvania. What courses do i need to take? maintaining a high GPA will be no problem for me at all. However, I do have 2 w's will this hurt me? DePaul is in the loop for trading/business... and i want to be a trader so DePaul would definatly help me get my foot in the door and many opportunites to network with alumni in the trading world. I have no work experience or extra curriculars either. I am a GED student with no SAT/ACT scores. I noticed DePauls acceptance rate for transfers is 67% soo its not like impossible, however, i want to be very sure i get accepted. HELP? I contacted transfer admissions, havent heard back from them.. although months ago i did, but i lost the email UGH!. I'm going to chat tommorow 2nd week friday.

Depaul business program is difficult to get in to. I will be honest with you. They rejects a lot of transfers. Here is an article clip. In the current academic year, the university had 7,235 transfer applicants and enrolled 2,526. (Those numbers do not include summer terms.) This is from the article titled On Transfer Students and Transfer-Friendliness by Eric Hoover. You should Google it. The school rejected or waitlisted a lot of students, but you should apply. Here is the school rankings. The undergraduate business program is ranked #40 in the nation by Business Week. Just do best and apply. Good Luck!
