Depaul University

What are people's opinions of DePaul University? The great things about it, the not so great things about it? The things you think someone should know before going to DePaul

Some specific questions too although general thoughts are just as good:
I've read that in terms of the campus itself, it's much more of a city feel. So how cohesive and traditional is the campus? On a scale of 1 to 10 with 1 being the city campus, just buildings that are together, no distinction between campus and city and 10 being traditional and stereotypical college campus
Describe the nightlife fostered by the city here and how it's different from stereotypical college social scenes
Is DePaul a commuter school at all?
Is the school especially religious? Like is the fact that its Catholic really obvious by the students and what goes on on campus?

My daughter loves it. I’m pretty sure what she loves is being right in the city. The Lincoln Park campus has a relatively campus-y feel. The Loop campus, not at all.

Lots of students commute, but the stats on commuters are so high because so many students live off campus.

If a student wants Catholic, they should go to Loyola (crucifixes on the wall, some priests living in the dorms.) DePaul identifies more with being Vincentian than Catholic. I recall seeing one religious painting on the whole campus.
