Dependent on Fin Aid?

<p>I'm applying to a masters program that is towards the bottom of my list of schools. They are asking me if my enrollment is dependent on a fellowship/assistanceship.</p>

<p>I would like to get fin aid if I go there but it's not absolutely 100% necessary. I know they only have very little money for MA students so if I say yes will they just reject me if they don't want to give me money? </p>

<p>I'm not sure what to do because I don't want to make a school that is mostly a safety become much more competitive. If I say yes will they still offer me admission if they don't want to get me assistance? </p>
