In the Navy, two thirds of all officers, including tactical jet pilots. by the time they have completed their first sea duty-shore duty cycle. will have participated in the program. It is actually so prevalent that non-participation can be considered detrimental to one’s career. From the posts above, apparently the AF is not quite on board to the extent of the Navy’s participation. Why do you think this might be so?</p>
