<p>So UConn accepted me from the waitlist yesterday (4/26), but I don't know whether I have to reply by May 1 or not, because they accepted me before the May 1 deadline, not after. I'm worried bc the financial aid package hasn't come in the mail yet, so I can't possible put down a deposit until I see that.
Also, ignoring rank, should I go to UMass or UConn?</p>
<p>I called and they said I have till May 10 to deposit and financial aid will show up on the uconn online portal thing. I waited a bit and it showed that they wanted me to send my taxes, and that’s gonna take a while too but they did give me time. I’m sacred if they’ll give me enough aid because of the waitlist and i’m out-of-state! And i’m also stuck between Uconn and Umass!! I just visited Uconn and I really wanted to pass by Umass but I couldn’t so i don’t know what it’s like. I thought Uconn was HUGE but very impressive and i’ve heard from many that Uconn is better but I want to see for myself…They’re both very similar tho and you won’t go wrong in either, just get in touch with the program you wanna go into and decide that way. I’d say deposit at Umass for now and see what Uconn gives you. I got into 8 more schools and it’s really annoying that i can’t decide where to deposit!! gd luck with your decision.</p>
