<p>Hey everyone, so I was accepted to Cornell Class of 2015 but couldn't mail my deposit May 1st being a Sunday and all - what do I do? I still may want to go to Cornell but I've missed the deadline :P</p>

Send it ASAP and contact the admissions office saying you’re very sorry but missed the deadline due to a logistic or some plausible reason. I’m sure they’ll understand, the Cornell staff seems very nice and understanding. I missed one financial aid deadline by 2 weeks or so and it was no problem. So I suggest you call them and ask whether it is OK if you postmarked it one day too late. </p>

OR you could ask them whether you can just scan it and send it via e-mail. That way they’ll get your stuff a lot earlier than from those who use postal services. I asked the international admissions office and they said it’s OK if I send it via e-mail; so that’s what I did.</p>

<p>@krlpps Yeah I just called them today and they said it wasn’t too late because of the whole May 1st fell on a sunday deal. whew! so relieved! Thanks! :)</p>
<p>I am confused by your saying “you may still want to go to Cornell” - do you or don’t you?
Have you deposited elsewhere? Are you waiting to get off a waitlist somewhere?</p>
