<p>I mailed my $600 deposit a few weeks ago. is it recommended that i wait to get a notification from JHU that they received it, or should I call to make sure? I'm just a little concerned with the postal system. What if there is a discrepancy and the deposit has to be resent after the 1/15 deadline, any penalties involved? thanks for the help!</p>
<p>Confirmation of enrollment deposits may take a bit of time to arrive. As you can imagine our office is currently sorting through a ton of mail as the January 1 regular decision deadline just passed. It takes our Operations staff a number of weeks to go through all the mail sent during the holiday weeks, and process all materials.</p>
<p>Once your enrollment deposit is processed we will mail you back a confirmation of its receipt. These will be mailed throughout the month of January. If you have not received your confirmation by the end of January, then you may call our office at 410-516-8171 to see whether your enrollment has been processed.</p>
<p>If there is a mailing problem, and you need to re-send after 1/15, no penalty will be involved. I wouldn't be concerned though - there are rarely mailing problems -- we just need time to sort through all the mail. Patience.</p>
