I could pay the 200$ deposit and still apologize and not go to UM correct? I just want to reserve my seat cause I want to take my time thinking about this transfer.

thanks.

yeah. If your indecisive right now, i would just pay. Although 200$ is a lot of money, it will reserve you your spot.

BJ...unless there is a time sensitive scholarship offer with a deadline, you have until May 1 to make your decision anyway. If you've been accepted, they will not give away your spot. Why don't you ask to see financial aid package first.
The deposit is not refundable and you are able to change your mind after you've paid it, but unless there is scholarship money involved with a hard deadline you really don't need to decide before the deadline. If you were aiming to make the decision AFTER May 1, then yes, you'd need to enroll to do so...and then if you don't go, some kid gets off the wait list...but if you were to apply AGAIN as a transfer, I am a little concerned that it would make you look fickle unless there was a good explanation. Good luck!
