Or am I just the only person who is like that? Ever since I've been prepping my whole attitute I guess just went DOWN. Like I used to always be excited, now I'm just think about that low PSAT/SAT score.

Seriously! I can't STOP because I'll be worried. But I can't keep this sad-personality going? Any advice?

I totally feel this way Other than my SAT, everything else looks beautiful. >_< But I try to use my time begin sad to push me to study harder instead of sulking about it ^^

The key is to get pumped for standardized tests. Go in with clenched fists, cheering, and high five the strangers next to you. I attribute my 5 on AP Chem to this attitude.

@Jetson What is the ACT equivalent to a 2100?

To the OP: Taking it the first time is always the hardest. Once you get a baseline score, you know your strengths and weaknesses, and there’s less immediate stress going into the second try.

My take on it is the less you care and worry about it, the better you will do. I’m 3rd in my class of over 500 because of this mindset. When you aren’t all stressed about everything it’s easier to do well (for me at least).
I don’t have time to stress over the SAT so I don’t. Whatever happens, will happen. I’ll study closer to my PSAT since I’m a junior but now I have other things to do that are more important

1800’s is good for a freshmen. Remember you got above average as a freshmen, for what SENIORS get. You have 1 whole year to study till the NMSQT comes, and ofcourse 2 years till the real SAT’s. Don’t stress it.
