Depressed individuals chances

<p>lately ive been down thinking that I wont get into any good college. Here are my stats/</p>

<p>GPA 93 UW, 95W
Act 34
Sat II's- all in the 700s
EC's- science internship in a competitive program.
board member/publicist- Key Club
200+ hours volunteering at local hospital
Summer Lab Courses at Cold Spring Harbor Biological Institute
Track 3 yrs
Cross Country 2 yrs
FHA- 2yrs, member
Football jv 2yrs
National Honor Society Inductee
job at a doctors office- 2 yrs
Courses taken senior year</p>

AP Calc AB
AP French
AP English
AP Gov
AP Eco
Science Projects 2H</p>

<p>Im just very depressed because I will be getting 2 B's my junior year, one in a class that is related to my field(Biochemistry) and math. I really would like to get into UChicago, NYU, Northwestern, Cornell and NYU. Do I still have a good chance?</p>

<p>Yeah, you definitely have no chances anywhere. Might as well get an early start now and learn how to drive an eighteen-wheeler or lay bricks.</p>

<p>Don't listen to grapple, he's being sarcastic. Anyways, I think you have a good shot into those schools. Two B's aren't going to kill your chances especially if your GPA is in the top 10% of your class. For Chicago make sure your essays and recs are good because once you're within their ACT/GPA range, it's all about the subjectives. Good luck, I'm sure you'll be fine.</p>

<p>Try and tie some of your ECs together with your interests and goals and I'd say you have an excellent shot at all of your schools.</p>

<p>Yeh, I plan to major in Biochem. My ec's focus around that like the science research and the lab courses. Any other opinions will be much appreciated.</p>

<p>It's actually pretty sad that you have this sort of depression about your self with 2 Bs, you should probably work hard like you have been and hope for the best</p>

<p>Ok, i know everyone will ahte me for this, but thats a risk im willign to take:
(i just couldnt venture forth into the wintry cold air of threadlessness myself, folks)
what can you do with chess as an EC, besides becoming Kazakstan's national champion (I actually know a dude who was once this distinguished title)??
i founded a club and stuff, but its "floundering" (ok, heres a numerical line graph of attendees:0-2-1-1) is this good or just cookie cutter??
any opinions? ideas??
